Meets provide opportunities for mountaineering activities - depending on the conditions. We hold most meets in our own huts and in huts of other climbing clubs in many beautiful locations across Scotland and the rest of the UK, or huts/camping in the Alps or further afield.

Non-members are very welcome to join us on our meets, (and at AGM) but please contact the Membership Secretary in order to book.

Training Meet coordinator (Apr 2024)There is no 'led' activity. Coordinators send a group email to all booked to enable car share and exchange of ideas for activities and relevant kit/maps/guide books.
Club members are reminded of our Insurance and liability and the Insurance and liability policy working at huts, see Governance).
(*Ref code TRNxxx) Meets providing skills training with a qualified instructor. Members can access ESMA funds.
Please use *REF code for bank transfers to main a/c for all Meets outwith our own Huts and note DATE to pay!
(Fees for LSCC 3 Huts are collected at Hut Meets, they are NOT sent to main a/c !)

Regional Events
Three areas in Scotland organise regional events.
Central: Glasgow, Edinburgh and south of these
Outliers: Stirling, Perth, Dundee and areas west
Highland: Cairngorms, Black Isle, North west, Islands Activities include midweek walks, climbing and evening slide shows.
Non- members/Prospectives are welcome, contact Membership Sec. to join an activity list.
Central:
Let us know if you wish to join a WA group for regular updates (members can ask Lindsay Chisholm).
Walks in the 'Central Belt' area - often the 3rd week in a month, but varies:

Climbing: Members from across the area meet throughout the year at various climbing venues, indoors and out. There is a WhatsApp group to enable arrangements.

Climbing wall: Local members and friends climb on a Thursday night, at 6-ish, either in Dundee at Vertical Limits or out and about. Contact Lizzie or Julia for details.
Slide Shows: During the winter we meet on an evening at Julia's to share photos.
Highland:
Walks are organised in the area on a Wednesday once a month.
Climbing: Members from the area meet throughout the year at various climbing venues, indoors and out.
Slide Shows: During the winter, we usually start at 7.30 pm, except the Burns supper which starts at 7 pm.
